We had the honor of taking part through one of our documentaries (postponed) in SOCIALMED, It is the first Mediterranean Human Rights Festival, with a focus on cinema and artistic creativity relating to social challenges geographically and culturally related to the Mediterranean Sea.
The festival is based in Valencia and has its main event once a year.
The 2021 edition will be dedicated to a reflection on the social movements that shook much of the world, and that had their origin in the so-called Arab Springs, whose expansive wave reached other Mediterranean countries such as Spain in the so-called 15M, and globally through of movements like Occupy Wall Street or We Are 99.99%. Everything that happened afterwards and its impact both regionally and globally will also be remembered.
Likewise, special attention will be paid to the 30th anniversary of the start of the wars in Yugoslavia with special programming.
